Rebuilding your sense of safety, identity, and voice after domestic violence takes time — and it takes a space where you're truly believed, without needing to explain or justify what you've been through.
Whether you're newly out of an unsafe relationship, further along in your healing, or still finding your way through what safety even means for you now, I offer trauma-informed counselling that moves at your pace —never rushed.
Together, we'll work through the impact of what you've experienced — the hypervigilance, the self-doubt, the grief for the relationship or family you thought you had — while also rebuilding what comes next: your confidence, your boundaries, and your trust in your own judgment.
As a bilingual, culturally sensitive counsellor with lived experience navigating life as a migrant and a mother, I understand that leaving is rarely simple, and healing is rarely linear — especially when family, culture, faith, or community add extra layers of complexity to your decisions.
If safety is an immediate concern, please also contact 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732, available 24/7.
I provide this support in Bundoora, Mill Park, South Morang, Epping, Reservoir, Doreen, Mernda, Wollert, Thomastown, Lalor, Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, Preston, Somerton, and across greater Melbourne — in person and via telehealth. Sessions are available in English and Arabic. As a PACFA-registered Clinical Counsellor with 5+ years of experience and over 1,500 individual sessions, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience as a migrant, mother, and career changer to every session.
