Relationships can become stuck in patterns that neither partner intended. Maybe you're having the same argument repeatedly, one of you tries to talk while the other shuts down, or you simply don't feel as connected as you once did. Sometimes the issue isn't a lack of love — it's that you've stopped knowing how to reach each other.
I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, parenting differences, family pressures, and relationship transitions. Counselling offers a space where both partners can feel heard while beginning to understand what is happening underneath the conflict.
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) alongside an integrative counselling approach, we'll work together to identify the cycle that keeps pulling you apart, understand the emotions and needs underneath your reactions, and develop healthier ways of communicating and reconnecting. The focus isn't on deciding who is right or wrong — it's on helping you understand each other differently.
I provide couples counselling in Bundoora, Mill Park, South Morang, Epping, Reservoir, Doreen, Mernda, Wollert, Thomastown, Lalor, Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, Preston, Somerton, and across greater Melbourne — in person and via telehealth. Sessions are available in English and Arabic. As a PACFA-registered Clinical Counsellor with 5+ years of experience and over 1,500 individual sessions, I bring a culturally sensitive and non-judgmental approach to supporting couples and relationships.
